Quick, near immediate response with excellent communication. Knowledgeable with troubleshooting and was able to solve the issue with my generator quickly. Factory certified so they were able to utilize the extended warranty for coverage. Much better than the prior service company I was using. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful Answers About Our Generator Services

How long does the installation process typically take?

Since we handle electrical, gas, and permits ourselves, most installs wrap up in a single day without the back and forth. Most systems are operational within the same week, depending on inspections.

Do you only install Generac and Kohler generators?

Our team currently focuses on trusted brands like Generac and Kohler.

Does my generator need a tune-up even if it hasn’t run during a storm?

Absolutely. Generators sit idle for months at a time, and that’s when problems quietly build up. Routine checkups make sure it actually works when you need it most.

How long can my generator run continuously?

With a steady fuel supply, a standby generator can run for days or even weeks. However, it depends on maintenance and manufacturer guidelines.

Why should I choose a mechanical specialist over a general electrician?

Generators are engines, while electricians handle wiring. We monitor engine performance, lubrication, and mechanical components closely due to our specialized expertise.

Why should I choose a generator over a battery backup system?

  • Longer runtime: Generators can run for days as long as fuel is available, unlike batteries with limited stored energy
  • Reliable fuel sources: Natural gas and propane provide consistent, dependable supply during outages
  • Fewer limitations: Battery systems offer short-duration power and require recharge time, which can be restrictive during extended outages
